 We have over 35 years of appraisal
experience in Ocean County and in particular, the Barnegat Bay Island. We have
completed appraisals for mortgages, condemnation, bankruptcy, riparian, estate,
insurance and criminal prosecution, to name a few. We have also offered
testimony before the New Jersey Superior Court, the U.S. District Court, local
planning boards and boards of adjustment.
Ray Birchler has been
appraising since 1962 with experience in most types of residential and
commercial properties. He holds a State General Real Estate Appraisal
Certification. Ray earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics degree from
Villanova University. Further education included numerous courses regarding real
estate and appraising. Ray's other experience includes serving as Commissioner
on the Ocean County Tax Board, Condemnation Commissioner as appointed by the
Superior Court and twelve years service on a planning board. He also served as
president of the Ocean County Board of Realtors and the Central Jersey Chapter
of the Appraisal Institute.
Eric Birchler has been appraising real estate
since 1993 with experience in both residential and commercial properties. He
holds the State Residential Real Estate Certification. Eric has earned the
Residential Accredited Appraiser from the National Association of Realtors
Appraisal Section. He is a graduate of Mount Saint Mary's College, Emmittsburg,
MD with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Finance with a minor in
Accounting. Eric earned his Master's of Science in Real Estate with a
concentration in Valuation and Analysis from New York University, New York
NY.
